A 42% merino wool, 30% acrylic and 28% superfine alpaca mix which oozes warmth and sophistication. Plaid has the perfect characteristics for a winter yarn - softness and warmth but with a lovely drape which keeps its shape. Tweed effects are created by tonal colours plyed together giving a quick knit 8mm needle yarn but also a depth of colour which enhances the overall effect of your knitting.
