Kaffe Fassett needs no introduction to knitters, nor does his uniquely brilliant colourwork. He is the undisputed master of subtle and glorious color combinations, but his patterns depend on the yarns being available if you wish to copy these exactly, as most knitters do.

Rowan has taken the unique step of deciding to give Kaffe the chance to redesign and recolor 24 of his favourite Rowan designs in the current range of Rowan yarns, such as their classic Scottish Tweed yarns and the Rowan Pure Wool range.

Kaffe has chosen to either recolor his existing designs or, in some of the more complex designs, reinvent them as cushions or throws to make them accessible to less experienced knitters, who still want a touch of Kaffe’s magic.
