This is a soft mohair boucle with a touch of wool and a nylon binder, It feels even softer after being hand-washed.

I made a beautiful stole in the Tropical Storm and found the blue dye came off on my hands when I was working with it. I wasn't too concerned though, as I've had the same experience with other well known brands. After the first wash with a good second rinse there was no more excess dye. The excess dye is probably why it's softer after washing and the end product is well worth the slight inconvience.

I have used up to a size 19 needle for a more lacy effect when making shawls.
